Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in becoming a volunteer?

There are many ways to get involved with WAMSCO! Below are a few examples of ways you can help contribute through our organization.

  • Assist in planting native gardens and rain gardens during the growing season

  • Help maintain public plantings that were installed in the community 

  • Seed collect from native plants in the fall 

  • Contribute to waterway monitoring by collecting data through our WAV or CLMN partnership programs

  • Become a volunteer board member and contribute to decision making

    Thank you to those that volunteered with WAMSCO in assisting the DNR with handling and tagging lake sturgeon during the spring spawn!
