Rick Moses

Rick Moses grew up on the Menominee Reservation, where he developed a strong appreciation for the land and waters around him. He believes water is a vital resource for all living things and that everyone shares in the responsibility to help protect it. Rick often notes that no one can adapt to live without water, and while regulations can help protect this resource, meaningful change ultimately depends on people caring enough to act.

Guided by the Native American principle of considering the next seven generations, Rick values long-term thinking and community involvement in conservation.

Rick’s dedication extends into several statewide roles. He serves as the Menominee County delegate for the Wisconsin Conservation Congress, is a board member of Wisconsin Lakes, and has participated in multiple sportsman’s clubs over the years. Outside of his conservation work, Rick enjoys spending time outdoors in just about any form.
